What's Happening


Greetings Platinum Families!

  • Next Thursday, Oct. 24, is early release for our Fall Parent Conferences, followed by a student holiday on Oct. 25 for staff development. If you would like to meet with your child’s teacher(s), please select the best time by clicking the links below. Conference blocks are 15 minutes. You can select a double-block if you need 30 minutes; however, out of respect for all parents, please do not reserve more than two blocks per teacher (K-1st) or grade-level team (2nd-5th).

    5th Grade and Support Staff (Dyslexia, G/T and STEM, A2E2 Magnet Program, Special Education--Behavior Intervention Unit, and Reading Intervention):

  • PTA dues are only $10 per parent or teacher! It is a small amount that can do amazing things! Open the attachment below to find out all the benefits of becoming a PTA member!   • Attached below, please find the list of school supplies needed for all DISD K-5 students. If you need assistance with any of these items, contact our counselor, Ms. Johnson, at melendra.johnson@desotoisd.org

  • Enrollment information can be found at the link above. Please follow the steps below to ensure your child can begin school on the day you come to campus.

    1) Complete 2020 online registration (electronic devices are available on campus to complete this step, if you do not have Internet access)

    2) Provide copy of a current utility bill (dated within the past 30 days), lease or rental agreement for proof of residency

    3) Immunization records

  • If you live in a zone for a campus other than RYE, and you wish to transfer to RYE, please call 972-223-6666 and ask for Vernette Moss. 
  • All transfer students (both in-district and out-of-district) must complete the Student Services Information Form.
